In line with our commitment to transparency, we have adopted an AI-use policy aimed at providing clarity on the use of AI in our research process.
Policy Overview
The use of AI technology has the potential to save time and contribute to progress in the field of research. However, we recognize the value of expertise and are dedicated to preserving the quality of our research and writing, which we believe is more valuable than content generated solely or mostly through AI machines.
Key Pillars of MJRC’s AI-Use Research Policy
Limited Use of AI: We believe in using AI to automate tasks as long as it does not compromise the quality, accuracy, and originality of our research. As a result, we do not publish any research that is fully or mostly generated through AI writing tools.
Copy-Editing and Proofing: When AI tools are used for copy-editing or proofing our content, we ensure that at least one round of proofing by a professional editor is carried out to maintain the highest standards of quality.
Translation: In cases where AI tools are used for translation purposes, we guarantee that at least two editors fluent in the languages involved in the translation process will review our work to ensure accuracy and precision.
Citation and Use of Other Research: MJRC is committed to restricting the use of sources that lack transparency regarding the use of AI in their generation or are predominantly based on AI-generated content (except when these studies are themselves the object of our research)
Policy Compliance
To uphold our AI-Use Policy, MJRC will transparently disclose in each publicly released study the extent to which AI has been utilized in its production. This includes sharing detailed information on the specific AI tools employed and how they were integrated into the research process.
