MJRC Partners with IPI’s 2024 World Congress and Media Innovation Festival
We are pleased to announce that the Media and Journalism Research Center has joined as a media partner the 2024 IPI World Congress and Media Innovation Festival. This year’s event will focus on the challenges confronting journalism amidst various crises as climate change, economic disparities, geopolitical tensions, humanitarian emergencies, misinformation, and polarization pose significant threats to global wellbeing.
In response, the IPI World Congress offers a platform for discussing the media’s role in addressing these challenges and forging a path forward. Themed “Navigating Crises: Journalism at a Turning Point,” the event will serve as a forum for media professionals, thought leaders, and innovators to explore solutions, promote understanding, and assess the media’s role in tackling today’s pressing crises.
